Duties and Responsibilities
- Commit to attend all days of training and data collection.
- Obtain and document informed consent from the study participants before the interviews.
- Conduct and record all interviews held with respondents using digital recorders.
- Participate in daily debrief meetings.
- Be a custodian of the APHRC data collection equipment during field work.
- Observe safeguarding procedures throughout the data engagement.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum requirements
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate, with a minimum grade of C plain.
- Experience in electronic data capture methods like survey CTO and devices like electronic digital recorders.
- Attention to detail to ensure the correctness of all data entered.
- Resident of the targeted counties.
- Fluency in English and Swahili as well as local language written and spoken proficiency as an added advantage.
- Be available to work full-time on the project for the duration.
