JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Rig Team Leader / Driver to manage and operate a mobile airtime sales van. The role involves driving the sales van, supervising field sales agents, managing airtime float, and ensuring daily sales targets are met while maintaining discipline and accountability in the field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and operate the sales van safely and responsibly
- Lead and supervise airtime sales agents attached to the rig
- Plan daily sales routes and selling points
- Issue airtime float to agents and ensure proper reconciliation
- Achieve and monitor daily and monthly sales targets
- Prepare and submit daily sales and accountability reports
- Enforce company policies, discipline, and branding standards
- Safeguard company assets including the van, airtime float, and devices
- Handle basic customer issues and field challenges
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driving license (mandatory)
- Previous experience in field sales, airtime sales, or mobile sales vans is an added advantage
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Basic accounting and reconciliation skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Honest, reliable, and results-oriented
- Ability to work long hours and in outdoor field conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum KCSE Certificate
- Experience in FMCG, telecom, or airtime distribution is an advantage
