Responsibilities or duties
Analyse new process automation candidates, quickly assessing feasibility and accurately support testing, deployment and support.
Support highly available RPA solutions that adhere to KCB RPA delivery methodology in accordance with standard RPA design principles, the bank's group policies, conventions, and best practices.
Liaise with the various stakeholders to define detailed and exact requirements required for solution development. Considering additional factors such as license utilization, local data preservation and security policies when developing automation solutions.
Develop or configure new processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand. Apply RPA workflow design best practices when developing or maintaining workflows.
Create and document test cases for negative scenarios, to document workflow behavior when certain systems malfunction, as well as performance scenarios, to stress test systems behavior.
Collaborate with Technology Risk and Security teams to ensure that applications are well secured as per the bank’s Technology Security policies and standards.
Form part of a Design Authority to take responsibility for maintaining the development integrity of the automated solution and constituent processes and objects.
Accountable for the timely agile delivery of high-quality solutions and provide end-to-end life cycle support.
Report issues to third level support (RPA vendor) if incidents cannot be solved by the internal team; ensure development fix, unit testing and production deployment preparation.
Perform code and release management using GIT, CI/CD and DevOps processes with automated unit tests and code coverage for application codebases.
Administer and coordinate automated processes, manage case allocation and workloads as well as oversee digital workers.
Collaborate with business analysts and architects to analyze process automation candidates and design best-fit architectures and solutions, guided by KCB group policies and industry best practices and standards.
Accountable for the timely agile delivery of high-quality solutions and provide end-to-end life cycle support.
Ensure BCM process is designed tested and implemented for all automations.
Resolution of audit and risk issues arising from RPA landscape.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Academic & Professional
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study
Professional Qualification:
Added Advantage:
Project Management: PRINCE II (Practitioner) / Agile PM / PMI-ACP / Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM)/ Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Any MSc or MBA
Experience needed
Total Minimum 4 Years of Work Experience Required (Must Have)
RPA development or support: 3 Years’ experience (Must have)
ITIL, High level programming languages, Java, C#, PHP, JavaScript. RPA certifications, Power Automate, Automation
