Job Summary:

Mother Amadea Mission Hospital, a Level 4 healthcare facility, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is vital in providing high-quality medical imaging services, ensuring accurate diagnostics, and maintaining strict safety standards to support patient care across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including General X-ray examinations, All ultrasound scanning procedures.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures and explain examinations clearly.
  • Ensure radiation safety and compliance with KNRA guidelines.
  • Operate, maintain, and care for radiographic equipment.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
  • Observe infection prevention and control measures at all times.
  • Work closely with clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Identify equipment faults and report promptly to management.
  • Participate in on-call duties, emergencies, and night shifts as required.

Minimum Qualification And Requirements:

  • Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years' working experience in a busy hospital or Imaging facility.
  • Registration with relevant professional and regulatory bodies in Kenya.
  • Valid practicing license (KNRA).
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts.
