JOB DETAILS:
BACKGROUND
The Nakuru County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the above vacant position in the Department of Health Services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities will involve operating radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the human body. This includes positioning patients, selecting appropriate exposure factors, and ensuring image quality. The role also involves maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and documenting patient information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. They should be registered with the Kenya Society of Radiographers (KSR) and hold a valid practicing license. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to patient care and safety.
