Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offering both inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking to recruit a Radiographer to join our Radiology Unit within the Clinical Services Department.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound examinations to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. The position ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centred imaging services while maintaining strict adherence to safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ post-internship experience in a facility of similar size.
- Valid registration and practising license from the relevant regulatory body.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in performing X-ray and ultrasound examinations.
- Ability to operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
- Accurate documentation and report preparation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ethical practice.
