Responsibilities or duties

As a Radiologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting medical images (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds) to diagnose diseases and injuries.
  • Performing image-guided procedures.
  • Consulting with referring physicians to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques and to discuss findings.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiology.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A medical degree (MBChB or equivalent).
  • Specialization in Radiology (M.Med Radiology or equivalent).
  • Valid registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
  • Proficiency in interpreting various medical imaging modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience needed

A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in Radiology is required.
