Background

We are seeking to recruit qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professionals to join our team in the following positions:

Responsibilities

  • Raw Material Planning: Forecast raw material requirements based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and inventory levels, ensuring uninterrupted production flow.
  • Inventory Optimization: Manage raw material inventory levels, balancing the need for adequate stock against minimizing carrying costs, obsolescence, and wastage.
  • Quality Assurance of Inputs: Establish and enforce quality specifications for all incoming raw materials, coordinating with Quality Control to inspect and approve deliveries.
  • Supplier Development: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key raw material suppliers, conducting regular visits and audits to ensure consistent quality and supply.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Oversee the storage, handling, and preservation of raw materials in warehouses, ensuring proper labeling, FIFO (First-In-First-Out) rotation, and safety.
  • Cost Management: Monitor raw material costs, identify cost-saving opportunities (e.g., bulk purchasing, alternative materials), and report on material cost variances.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the raw material supply chain, such as geopolitical issues, transportation disruptions, or supplier insolvency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' relevant work experience in an agricultural or horticultural environment.
  • Demonstrated professional competence, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
