We are seeking a versatile and proactive Front Office & Technical Sales Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This is a "hybrid" role designed for a professional who possesses a background in agricultural/biological sciences and a passion for customer engagement.

Salary: KSh 25,000 – 30,000 (Gross)

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Receptionist / Front Office Assistant will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling visitors, coordinating communication, supporting basic sales activities, and ensuring a welcoming and organized office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, attend to, and direct visitors and clients to the respective offices with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Manage all social media platform correspondences (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, X) and website inquiries with timely and helpful responses.
  • Identify sales opportunities from walk-in customers and existing clients to grow business volume.
  • Facilitate hospitality for staff and stakeholders by preparing and serving office tea and refreshments
  • Ensure the office, equipment, and apparatus are cleaned and orderly
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls via a multi-line switchboard; handle physical mail and official correspondences.
  • Manage the filing system, scanning, photocopying, and binding of documents to ensure proper records management.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Diploma in Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Diary Science & Technology, Animal Health, Soil Science, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Certificate in Business, Customer Service, PR, or Administration is an added advantage
  • At least 2–3 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Digital marketing skills are an added advantage
  • Valid driving or motorcycle licence is an added advantage
