Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations for FMCG brands across the Mountain Region. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, manage distributor relationships, and supervise field sales teams to achieve targets in Thika, Muranga, Meru, Isiolo, and Nanyuki.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for FMCG brands.
2. Lead, mentor, and supervise Team Leaders and field sales representatives.
3. Manage distributor networks and ensure optimal product availability and visibility.
4. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform sales tactics.
5. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to enhance team productivity.
6. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for the region.
7. Ensure compliance with trade policies, promotions, and brand guidelines.
8. Build strong relationships with key retailers, wholesalers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of sales experience in FMCG, with 5 years as a Regional Sales Manager specifically in the Mountain Region (Thika, Muranga, Meru, Isiolo, Nanyuki).
• Proven experience supervising Team Leaders and field sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of distributor management and retail trade dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and drive performance improvements.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
