To provide technical support and guidance to the underwriting team to ensure that insurance applications are processed efficiently and effectively.

• Supervise and lead the underwriting team. • Review and assess insurance applications to determine risk and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines. • Provide technical guidance and support to the underwriting team. • Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching. • Ensure that all underwriting activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that customer needs are met. • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance or any other related field.
  • Professional qualification in insurance (ACII / AIIK or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in underwriting.
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
