Kingsyard Medicare Center is an urban healthcare facility providing primary medical care, outpatient consultations, and diagnostic services to residents in Eastleigh and surrounding Nairobi communities.

Position Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Registered Clinical Officer (RCO) to manage outpatient consultations, diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment plans, and ensure comprehensive clinical management. Preference will be given to candidates residing within or near Eastleigh.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed medical consultations, examinations, and diagnostic assessments for outpatient cases.
  • Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications.
  • Perform minor surgical/clinical procedures and handle initial emergency care.
  • Maintain complete and confidential patient medical records.
  • Refer complex medical cases to specialists or higher-level facilities when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized training institution.
  • Licensing: Valid practicing license and active registration with the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive clinical experience in a busy outpatient setting.
  • Residency: Residents of Eastleigh (or adjacent neighborhoods) are highly preferred.
  • Competencies: Strong diagnostic skills, fluency in relevant local languages, and outstanding bedside manner.
