Organization and Position Details
Organization: VisionFund Kenya Limited (a fast-growing financial service company and an investment of World Vision Kenya).
Position: Relationship Officer - Narok Branch
Reporting to: The Relationship Manager.
Objective: "The holder of this position will plan and carry out specific credit assignments on the MFI's operations in an efficient, economical, and effective manner."
Key Responsibilities
Make and manage customers with the aim of growing portfolio and customer numbers as per the set targets.
Handle all customer care issues at group and individual level.
The ideal candidate should possess skills in: portfolio quality, appraisals, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, marketing & client recruitment.
Should also meet the expected outstanding loan balance (OLB), client targets, expected repeat borrowers, and new borrowers targets as per the agreed category.
Job Requirements
The ideal Candidate should possess a determined personality with initiative and perseverance, be ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization’s vision and Core Values, demonstrate high regard for accuracy and reliability.
Willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
May be a form four leaver, but enthusiastic with good communication and sales skills.
Candidate should also have at least 3 years of experience in credit work in a financial institution.
The candidate must be a professing and practicing Christian, whose conduct and depth of character are governed by personal Christian convictions.
