Responsibilities

As a Renal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with kidney conditions. This includes monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, assisting with dialysis procedures, and educating patients and their families about kidney health and treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Qualifications and Experience

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Renal Nurse.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a higher nursing diploma in nephrology or a diploma in Nursing (KRCHN).
  • A valid Nursing Council License is mandatory. ACLS/BLS Training will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a renal nurse is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Kiswahili are essential.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for effective patient and team interaction.
  • We seek a great team player who can collaborate with other team members to offer the best outcomes to the patient.
  • The candidate should be ethical, empathetic, and patient-centered, with the ability to work under minimum supervision.
