Ensure Company goods and materials are safely transported from the Company filling premises to various distribution centres and vice versa in a timely and accurate manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships fellow colleagues – Container Coordinator, Loaders/Off loaders, Direct Sales Agents plus any other in you line of duty.
  • Timely delivery of filled gas cylinders to the container locations and collection of empties as per stipulated SOPs.
  • HSE policies and procedures must be adhered to while handling company products.
  • Carefully drive the asset/truck to assigned delivery points and take full charge of the asset.
  • Pre-trip checks
  • Service interval schedules
  • General cleanliness
  • Take full responsibility of assets’ accessories – first aid kit, fire extinguishers & tool kits.
  • Ensure delivery process are done procedural as per laid down SOP both physical and on company APP system.
  • Before starting any trip, check all statutory licences are valid and up to date, EPRA & NTSA licences.
  • Insurance, inspection, branding and inter-county permits.
  • Achieve and observe quick turnaround times at stock locations as per set KPIs.
  • Asset/truck must be driven in accordance with Kenya Traffic Act – Cap 404 of the laws of Kenya.
  • All accidents and incidents are reported as they happen in a timely manner.
  • Any other duty as will be assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driving License, atleast class C
  • Valid EPRA License.
  • 2 years’ experience driving in corporate setup.
  • Certificate of good conduct is mandatory
