PROJECT OVERVIEW
Inkomoko invites qualified ERP software vendors and implementation partners to submit proposals for the implementation and long-term support of a modern, cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The selected ERP solution will serve as a single source of truth across Finance, Procurement, People & Culture (HRM), Payroll, Grants, and Reporting, supporting Inkomoko’s multi-country, multi-entity, donor-funded operations across East and Central Africa.
Project Overview
The ERP implementation aims to:
- Replace fragmented systems, spreadsheets, and manual processes
- Strengthen internal controls, auditability, and donor compliance
- Enable real-time reporting and data-driven decision-making
- Support scalable growth from ~1,000 to 4,000+ users over five years
The ERP must support:
- Multi-country, multi-currency, and multi-entity operations
- Donor-funded and grant-restricted accounting
- Strong workflow controls, segregation of duties, and audit trails
- Cloud-based architecture with high availability and security
In-Scope Functional Areas
- Finance & Grant Management
- Procurement (end-to-end Procure-to-Pay)
- People & Culture (HRM)
- Payroll (multi-country, donor cost allocation)
- Reporting, Analytics & Integrations
- Data Migration, Training, Go-Live & Hypercare Support
Implementation Timeline
- Target implementation duration: 9 - 12 months months
- Expected Go-Live: No later than 31 October 2026

- Security, compliance, and audit readiness
- Implementation approach and delivery capability
- Relevant ERP experience in similar environments
- Value for money and total cost of ownership
