About ILRI
ILRI works to improve food and nutrition security and reduce poverty in developing countries through research for better and fairer
livestock development. ILRI is a CGIAR research centre and is the only one of its kind headquartered in Kenya. The institute works
with partners in developing countries to help mist of the world’s poorest people, who rely on livestock for their livelihoods.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection and management for research projects.
- Conduct literature reviews and assist in report writing.
- Support in organizing and facilitating research workshops and meetings.
- Perform other research-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Agriculture, Animal Science, Economics, Social Sciences).
- Proven experience in research assistance or data collection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
