Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and analytical Research Consultant to join our team, focusing on the Breadth of Learning Opportunities (BOLO) initiative. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, conducting, and analyzing research that explores diverse learning pathways and educational access. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that impact education equity and community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement research studies related to learning opportunities, educational access, and community engagement.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
- Prepare research reports, policy briefs, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with program teams to integrate research findings into project design and implementation.
- Engage with stakeholders, including educators, community leaders, and partners, to ensure research relevance and impact.
- Support grant writing and funding proposals with evidence-based insights.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in research design, data collection, and analysis.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate research into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with mixed-methods research and participatory approaches.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-driven development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote or hybrid team.
