About The African Academy of Sciences
The African Academy of Sciences (AAS) is a pan-African organization that brings together the most influential scientists and technologists in Africa to provide leadership in science, technology and innovation for sustainable development in Africa. The AAS is a non-aligned, honorary institution that serves as a "Robotics" for the continent.
The Role
The African Academy of Sciences is seeking to recruit a Research Scientist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and disseminating findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in relevant scientific fields.
- Analyze and interpret research data.
- Disseminate research findings through publications and presentations.
- Collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals.
Qualifications
- A PhD in a relevant scientific field.
- Proven track record of research and publications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of research experience is required.
