Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Reservations Consultant to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the reservation process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our guests from initial inquiry to booking confirmation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, packages, and hotel amenities.
- Process bookings efficiently and accurately in the reservation system.
- Manage cancellations, modifications, and special requests.
- Upsell services and packages to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge regarding Sopa Lodges properties and offerings.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using reservation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A passion for customer service and a positive attitude.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
