Job descriptions & requirements

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards

Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet customer expectations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station

Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times

Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen deliveries

Work closely with the kitchen team during service hours

Minimize food waste and ensure proper portion control

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role

Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable, disciplined, and time-conscious

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Added Advantage

Culinary training or hospitality certificate

Experience working in a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen

Knowledge of multiple cuisines
