  • Our client, a reputable chain of restaurants in Nairobi, is seeking a proactive and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with excellent organizational skills, a strong customer service mindset, and a passion for hospitality excellence. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a seamless front-of-house experience, supervising staff, and maintaining service standards across the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the restaurant including service, cleanliness, and customer engagement.
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver top-tier service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with the kitchen and procurement team to ensure adequate stock.
  • Handle customer complaints or queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate shift schedules, staff performance reviews, and attendance tracking.
  • Report to the Restaurant Manager and assist in implementing strategic service initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality setup, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic reporting tools is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
