Background

Eden is a leading organization dedicated to environmental restoration and conservation. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restoration Manager to lead our impactful projects in Kenya.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of environmental restoration projects.
  • Develop and implement restoration strategies and plans.
  • Lead and mentor field teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, collect data, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Forestry, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental restoration or conservation projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Kenyan environmental regulations and conservation practices is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
