Key Responsibilities
Revenue Validation
- Conduct thorough reviews and validations of billing records to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual and pricing terms.
- Identify discrepancies and anomalies in revenue data, investigate root causes, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
Data Analysis
- Utilize data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to analyze revenue patterns and trends.
- Perform regular audits of revenue data to detect anomalies and proactively mitigate potential revenue leakage.
Process Improvement
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements that improve revenue assurance and operational efficiency.
- Develop and document best practices for billing, revenue validation, and contract management.
Reporting and Insights
- Generate timely and accurate revenue assurance reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making and revenue optimization.
Contract Compliance
- Monitor and validate compliance with contract terms to ensure correct billing and revenue recognition.
- Work closely with Legal and Sales to resolve discrepancies between contractual terms and billing outputs.
Communication and Collaboration
- Foster effective communication across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Customer Support teams to address revenue-related concerns.
- Support alignment and collaboration across departments to strengthen revenue assurance frameworks.
Risk Mitigation
- Identify potential revenue risks and establish controls to mitigate them.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact revenue assurance processes.
Minimum academic qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
One to two years working experience in a similar role
Preferred professional qualifications
CPA / ACCA qualification or progress toward completion.
Certification or training in Data Analytics, Power BI, Advanced Excel, SQL, or Business Intelligence tools would be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and data visualization platforms.
- Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of connectivity industry operations, billing systems, and contract management is highly desirable.
