Role Context

This role is for a Room Division Manager at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. The position requires a seasoned professional to oversee all aspects of the hotel's room division operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient management of staff and resources.

Responsibilities

The Room Division Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge departments.
• Ensuring high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
• Developing and implementing operational strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Recruiting, training, and managing departmental staff.
• Overseeing budgets and controlling expenses within the room division.
• Maintaining the physical condition of guest rooms and public areas.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operations software.
