Role Overview:
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and scalability of the bank’s digital and infrastructure platforms. The role will work at the intersection of software engineering and operations, implementing practices that keep systems resilient, automated and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and monitor infrastructure for availability, latency, performance and capacity
- Automate deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting and recovery systems across environments
- Collaborate with development teams for incident management and root-cause analysis
- Participate in platform architecture reviews to ensure operational readiness and scalability
- Define SRE metrics and drive continuous improvement in system reliability and operational efficiency
- Document systems, standard operating procedures and participate in disaster recovery / business continuity planning
