Responsibilities or duties

Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all finance and accounting operations.

Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and preparation of financial reports.

Manage cash flow and working capital to support smooth operations and institutional growth.

Ensure timely preparation of statutory and regulatory reports and compliance with financial regulations.

Oversee payroll administration, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and financial record management.

Supervise payments to suppliers, maintenance of payment records, and preparation of member refunds.

Ensure accurate postings, journals, account reconciliations, and updating of members’ accounts.

Provide timely financial analysis and management reports to support strategic decision-making.

Strengthen internal controls, accountability, and financial risk management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

CPA(K)/ACCA qualification.

Experience needed

Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a Sacco or financial institution.
