Our Client, UASA Sacco is located in the Dagoretti sub-county in Nairobi County. The Sacco has been in existence for over a year and wishes to recruit professionals to fill the following vacant positions:
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and implementing the decisions of the Board.
- Providing leadership to employees.
- Ensuring effective management of the Sacco’s business in the best interest of the Sacco and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring development and implementation of strategic and business plans.
- Overseeing the development of operational plans and budget for approval by the Board.
- Ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Overseeing the implementation of all Sacco policies.
- Undertake all related human resource function including recruitment, delegation of duties, and management of staff affairs.
- Ensuring there is effective communication between the management and the Board.
- Acting as the principal spokesperson of the Sacco.
- Any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the BOD.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Holder of a Business degree from a recognized university;
- Have satisfactorily served as team leader in a Sacco or a comparable position with similar responsibilities in like organizations for a minimum period of two (2) years;
- Have demonstrated high leadership and management capability; and
- Understand Cooperative Act and Sacco Societies Regulations.
- Certificate of good conduct.
NB: The position demands high level of integrity beyond reproach.
