Job Description
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, travel, and group accounts to maximize revenue generation for ibis Styles Nairobi. The role requires a proactive and strategic individual with a deep understanding of hospitality sales, excellent customer service, and strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through active prospecting, sales calls, networking, and client visits.
- Manage and grow existing accounts to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts that align with client needs and hotel offerings.
- Conduct regular account reviews to monitor client satisfaction and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Achieve outside weekly sales calls and appointments as directed by the management.
- Develop own lead sources via referrals, networking and prospecting.
- Respond to and tract all incoming sales leads in a timely manner via C-Vent and the Sales Navigator
- Responsible for achieving monthly corporates and travel agent revenue goals.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry; hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Nairobi’s corporate and travel trade market is an added advantage.
- Command of English, both written and oral
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software: Word and Excel
