Job Summary

Our client, in the fintech industry, is seeking to recruit an energetic, results-driven, and customer-focused Sales Agent Intern to support its sales and business development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, promoting the company’s fintech products and services, onboarding new clients, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate should possess high Integrity, professionalism, adaptability, willingness to learn and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential customers through telephone calls, Referrals, social media, field activities, and other approved sales channels.
  • Support the sales team in promoting the company’s fintech products and services.
  • Explain basic product features, benefits, and usage to prospective customers using approved sales materials.
  • Guide customers through account registration, onboarding, verification, and activation processes.
  • Assist with simple product demonstrations and refer complex customer questions to the Relevant team member.
  • Help generate sales leads and conduct follow-ups under the supervisor’s guidance.
  • Participate in efforts to achieve agreed individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintain basic records of leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, and completed transactions.
  • Update customer and sales information in the company’s CRM system, spreadsheets, or Other internal platforms as guided.
  • Support the team in building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Collect customer feedback and share relevant observations with the supervisor.
  • Assist in responding to basic customer concerns and escalate technical or complex issues to the appropriate department.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, product activations, exhibitions, roadshows, and Other promotional activities.
  • Conduct basic research on competitor products, customer preferences, and the fintech market developments.
  • Assist in preparing simple sales activity reports and performance updates.
  • Attend product training, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
  • Perform other reasonable sales, customer service, or administrative support duties assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of sales, customer service, or customer relationship management.
  • Interest in fintech, digital financial services, mobile applications, or digital payment solutions.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Internet-based platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal, persuasion, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and receive guidance and feedback.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and comfortable working towards reasonable sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently when required and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • High level of honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Previous internship, industrial attachment, sales, or customer service exposure will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
