Sales Agent

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Our client, a Kenyan company focused on renewable energy solutions is looking for a Sales Agent to join their team

THE JOB

As the Sales Agent, you will be responsible for leading sales strategy and team management to achieve revenue targets and oversee regional sales operations

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  1. Developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  2. Meeting planned sales goals.
  3. Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  4. Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  5. Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns.
  6. Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives.
  7. Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally

QUALIFICATIONS 

The job holder should have the following qualifications. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Inverter, power tank, solar energy, generator, new energy or battery industry with successful sales records and clients experience

THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel to other cities in Kenya

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON

We are offering the successful candidate monthly basic salary of a range between KES 30,000 – 60,000

Developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls. Meeting planned sales goals. Setting individual sales targets with the sales team. Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary. Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns. Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives.
