Role Context & Responsibilities
You are being engaged in the capacity of Sales Agent, responsible for driving bookings and revenue growth through lead conversion, relationship management, and proactive business development.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong sales capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional travel experiences.
Your responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Close inbound leads efficiently through calls, follow-ups, and personalized traveler support.
- Conduct sales consultations with prospective travelers and convert interest into confirmed bookings.
- Present tailored travel solutions that align with client needs while maximizing business opportunities.
- Support group organizers and hosts throughout the booking and confirmation process.
Business Development & Group Sales
- Proactively source and develop large group opportunities, including corporate travel, communities, professional associations, and social groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to generate repeat and referral business.
- Identify new opportunities to expand Naru Zanzibar's customer base and revenue streams.
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and strong conversion rates.
- Accurately track leads, opportunities, and bookings within the Company's CRM and internal systems.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and sales administration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with campaigns, trip availability, and group opportunities.
- Provide feedback and insights on traveler needs, objections, and market trends to support continuous improvement.
- Act as a senior voice within the sales team by setting a high standard for responsiveness, professionalism, and performance.
Qualifications or requirements
- Proven experience in sales, business development, customer success, or account management.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and converting leads into bookings.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in luxury travel, hospitality, tourism, lifestyle, or other high-ticket sales environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
