The Sales Development Representative Trainee will be the driving force of our sales engine, dedicated to building a strong sales pipeline and generating qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. This role demands high energy, unwavering resilience, and exceptional professionalism in client interactions. The ideal candidate will possess foundational experience in sales and will be eager to showcase their potential through proactive, high-volume outreach, particularly via cold calling in the competitive cloud computing sector. We are looking for individuals who embrace the phone as their primary tool for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development:
- Execute high-volume cold calling and targeted outbound prospecting daily to identify, qualify, and engage key decision-makers globally.
- Strategically utilize email campaigns and social selling to penetrate target accounts and secure initial discovery meetings.
- Relentlessly qualify both inbound and outbound leads to ensure that every opportunity passed to the Account Executives is a high-potential, sales-ready lead.
Client Engagement & Professionalism:
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and executive presence in all client interactions, serving as the first impression of CloudPlexo.
- Clearly and persuasively articulate the value proposition of CloudPlexo's entire suite of offerings, including GenAI Solutions, Cybersecurity, Managed SaaS, AWS Billing Optimization, Large-Scale Migrations ,and more.
- Schedule and confirm initial meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
Performance and Data Management:
- Meticulously track all sales activities and prospect data within the CRM to ensure an accurate view of the pipeline's health.
- Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and qualification targets.
- Actively participate in sales strategy sessions and provide candid feedback to optimize outreach methods.
Requirements
Required Experience: 0-1 years of professional experience in a sales, customer service, call centre, or high-volume communications role. We welcome fresh graduates and individuals with a strong aptitude for sales who are eager to learn and prove themselves.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated high energy, a strong competitive spirit, and an aptitude for a 'hunter' mentality essential for building a sales pipeline from scratch.
Exceptional client-facing skills and professional demeanor with the ability to engage confidently.
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
A proactive, results-oriented attitude with the discipline to manage a fast-paced, goal-driven workflow.
