Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Chemical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sales of building chemicals or construction-related products
- Strong understanding of construction materials, building chemical applications, and technical sales processes
- Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
- Good organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to work under pressure and manage frequent site visits
- Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driving license is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Drive sales growth for building chemical products including waterproofing solutions, concrete admixtures, sealants, adhesives, coatings, repair mortars, and flooring systems while identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, architects, distributors, and project owners while ensuring excellent customer support and satisfaction.
Technical Support & Project Coordination: Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and provide product recommendations based on project requirements while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely supply and delivery.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities, conduct market surveys, prepare quotations and tender submissions, and provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence reports.
