Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to grow our client base and increase revenue for our safety boots and workwear solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new business, managing key accounts, and building long-term relationships with corporate and SME clients across Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new corporate and SME clients in construction, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, and industrial sectors.
- Sell Safety Hub’s range of certified safety boots, PPE, and workwear solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, presentations, quotations, negotiations, closing, and after-sales follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement managers, site managers, HR, and operations teams.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and client presentations.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using the CRM / Application Tracking System.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Participate in industry events, expos, and site visits to promote Safety Hub Enterprises.
Education & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Professional training in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in workwear, safety equipment, industrial supplies, construction materials, or manufacturing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling to corporate clients, contractors, and SMEs. Experience managing key accounts and long sales cycles is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
- Customer-focused with a consultative selling approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Kenya.
