Background

Our client in FMCG is looking for a sales Manager to drive sales growth within an assigned territory by managing the sales team, expanding distribution, and ensuring consistent product availability and visibility across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Lead, supervise, and coach sales representatives to achieve daily and weekly targets
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance, coverage, and execution
  • Ensure full distribution across general trade, modern trade, and wholesale outlets
  • Drive product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards in all outlets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts
  • Monitor stock movement and coordinate with supply chain to minimize stock-outs
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in the market
  • Plan and execute trade promotions, activations, and market initiatives
  • Ensure accurate use of sales systems/apps for order booking and reporting
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales (FMCG experience is an added advantage)
