Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the leisure segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in leisure travel.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and industry events.
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Manage group bookings and negotiate contracts for leisure clients.
    • Analyze sales data to measure performance and identify growth areas.
    • Train and mentor junior sales team members.
    • Ensure seamless coordination with other departments (front office, F&B) for client satisfaction.
    • Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
      • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills.
      • Proactive, sales-driven, with excellent selling and negotiation abilities.
      • Results-oriented with a proven track record in sales.
      • Confident decision-maker with strong initiative.
      • Passionate about leadership and committed to success.
      • Preferred Skills:
        • Proficiency in hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) and CRM tools.
        • Knowledge of Nairobi’s leisure tourism market.
        • Fluency in multiple languages (advantageous).
