Am looking for a sales manager with extensive experience in the FMCG sector, this job is in Nairobi, salary range 200 - 250K no commission.
Team management: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a sales team, setting clear performance expectations. Strategy and planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, plans, and processes to meet revenue goals. Performance monitoring: Track and analyze sales metrics, KPIs, and data to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement. Client relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Sales forecasting and reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports on sales activities for senior management. Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and ensure consistency. Goal setting: Set sales targets and performance goals for the team and individual members. Customer service: Provide support for high-value deals or resolve complex customer issues.
Leadership and motivation: Ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve its full potential. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey goals, provide feedback, and present results. Analytical skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and use data to make informed decisions and create effective strategies. Strategic planning: Capability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company goals and identify new market opportunities. Interpersonal skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and team members. Problem-solving: Skill in resolving customer complaints and handling difficult situations with empathy. Time management: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, balance workloads, and meet deadlines.
Experience in sales and a strong track record. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales software. Strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and sales best practices. Ability to recruit, train, and manage sales staff. Often requires strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
