The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing new HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Institution) accounts. This role involves field prospecting, relationship management, and closing deals with food service buyers to ensure the company becomes their preferred produce supplier.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and approach potential HORECA clients within the region.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of hotels, restaurants, and catering companies.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and tastings to showcase product quality and service reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, supply terms, and delivery schedules in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with the logistics and operations team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to improve offerings.
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and prepare weekly reports on pipeline and performance.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in food supply, FMCG, or HORECA channels.
- Strong understanding of the HORECA sector and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in the field.
- Must have a valid driving license and be willing to travel within assigned regions.
