Harley’s Limited is a company registered in 1953 that deals in the sales, marketing and distribution of healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, surgical-equipment, medical equipment, ophthalmic equipment, theatre equipment and OTC products. The volume of business generated since the current management took over from 1975 has continued to grow steadily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Marketing: Promote and sell Harley’s OTC products while meeting sales targets, increasing market penetration and ensuring proper listing and placement of new products.
  • Customer and Service Excellence: Build strong customer relationships through regular visits, responsive support, effective merchandising, payment follow-ups and prompt resolution of customer complaints.
  • Reporting and Market Intelligence: Submit accurate and timely sales reports and provide market insights into pricing, product performance, launches and merchandising trends.
  • Compliance and Stock Management: Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements and SOPs, while maintaining adequate stock levels across the supply chain.
  • Adaptability and Support: Demonstrate initiative and flexibility by supporting additional responsibilities as assigned, in line with evolving business needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing or a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in the marketing of pharmaceutical products will be an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with the proven ability to coach and motivate the sales force.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage vendors and internal stakeholders professionally and resolve issues collaboratively.
  • Experience in supervising or coaching junior staff, with strong leadership skills and the ability to promote a high-performance culture, will be an advantage.
  • High level of integrity, discretion with financial data and the ability to manage competing priorities, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
