Job Purpose Jobs

To identify, develop and convert business opportunities into revenue by acquiring new customers, managing customer relationships, coordinating quotations and tenders, supporting project sales and ensuring effective execution of sales and business development activities to achieve departmental targets.

Tender Management Support

  • Maintain tender registers and tender pipeline reports.
  • Support tender follow-up and communication activities.

Quotation & Project Sales Management

  • Prepare and issue customer quotations.

  • Track quotation conversion and closure rates.
  • Coordinate project sales opportunities from lead generation to execution.
  • Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Maintain quotation records and reporting.

Customer Order & Payment Coordination

  • Coordinate customer orders from confirmation to delivery.
  • Liaise with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Follow up on customer payments and down payments.
  • Support debt collection and outstanding payment recovery.
  • Provide customers with regular updates on order status and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve order-related issues and customer concerns.

Sales Operations & Commercial Support

  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline.
  • Support sales forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Monitor sales activities and conversion performance.
  • Ensure compliance with sales processes and procedures.
  • Support implementation of sales improvement initiatives.

Internal & External Communication Management

  • Manage customer communication through Email, IFMIS, and WhatsApp platforms.
  • Ensure professional and timely communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain proper documentation and communication records.
  • Support IFMIS-related communication and follow-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company communication protocols.

Sales Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.

  • Submit activity and performance reports as required.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales information.

Meeting Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

Interior Design & Workspace Solutions Support

Qualifications & Experience

Academic Qualifications

Professional Qualifications

  • Professional certification in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Business Development, or Project Management is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Service, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience in B2B sales, tender management, project sales, or workspace solutions is an added advantage.
  • Experience working with Government, NGO, Corporate, Banking, Healthcare, Education, or Real Estate sectors is desirable.
