Job Purpose

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative who will be responsible for increasing sales revenue within the assigned territory by managing existing accounts, developing new business, and ensuring the consistent execution of our focus brands.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales and Targets Achievement: Meet volume and revenue targets across assigned outlets. Ensure product availability, visibility, and pricing compliance. Execute promotions, activations, and merchandising strategies. Use data insights to influence customer strategies and drive growth.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Share new ideas to improve sales processes and team effectiveness. Identify and act on business opportunities based on market feedback.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts. Maintain accurate customer data using Sales Force Automation tools. Act as a brand ambassador with deep product knowledge and enthusiasm.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide actionable insights. Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor strategies for local markets.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, trade laws, and HEINEKEN’s global standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional qualification in Marketing (e.g., Certified Sales and Marketing Professionals) and membership in a professional body (e.g., Chartered Institute of Marketing) is an added advantage.
  • Must possess a clean and valid driving license.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Sales within the FMCG sector.
  • Technical Competencies: Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service. Experience in managing product availability and merchandising. Proficiency in data analysis and digital sales tools. Ability to lead and coordinate merchandising teams.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Organized, analytical, and a strong decision-maker. Excellent communicator and negotiator. Customer-focused with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Innovative thinker who aligns actions with strategic goals.

Additional Company-Specific Responsibilities

  • Represent KWAL and HEINEKEN’s portfolio of brands with professionalism and integrity.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Contribute to team goals and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company objectives.
  • Uphold HEINEKEN’s commitment to sustainability and responsible consumption in all customer interactions.
