Responsibilities or duties
As the Sales Team Leader, you will:
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and departmental performance targets.
- Drive business growth by meeting and exceeding sales objectives while expanding the company’s customer base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Identify new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, lending procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the loan application process by ensuring quality customer onboarding and efficient loan processing.
- Prepare sales reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications or requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related business field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
- At least 2 years of experience in logbook financing or a similar lending environment.
- Strong knowledge of lending practices, loan processing procedures, and credit operations.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and people management abilities.
- A strategic mindset with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM or loan management systems is an added advantage.
