The Opportunity

As a Sales & Collections Agent, you'll be the face of 4G Capital within your community.

You'll identify and onboard new customers, provide financial education, build lasting customer relationships and support responsible lending by maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.

At 4G Capital, our customers affectionately call us "Mwalimu" (Teacher) because we don't just lend—we coach, educate and empower entrepreneurs to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

Grow Our Customer Base

  • Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, referrals and community engagement.
  • Guide customers through the loan application process.
  • Conduct customer due diligence and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Deliver customer education aligned with 4G Capital's mission of growing businesses with capital and knowledge.
  • Achieve monthly sales, disbursement and active customer targets.

Build Lasting Customer Relationships

  • Develop trusted relationships with entrepreneurs and business owners.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support throughout the customer journey.
  • Resolve customer queries professionally and promptly.
  • Build strong referral networks within local communities and business groups.

Protect Portfolio Quality

  • Promote responsible borrowing and timely repayments.
  • Monitor customer performance and identify potential risks early.
  • Follow all credit policies, due diligence requirements and risk management procedures.
  • Support portfolio health through proactive collections and customer engagement.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about customer needs, market trends and competitor activities.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback with Branch and Regional leadership to support business growth.

What We're Looking For

Essential

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within financial services or customer-facing environments.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Understanding of lending products, credit processes and customer assessment.
  • Willingness to relocate and work outside Nairobi, including remote locations across Kenya.
  • Basic digital literacy, including confident use of smartphones and mobile applications.

Desirable

It would be an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with micro and small business owners.
  • Experience in financial services, micro-finance or lending.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in local languages spoken within your assigned region.
