Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales role based at Rongai CS in Nairobi County, Kenya, with 20 positions available. The Sales team members will identify and approach potential clients, present Platinum Credit products, and guide customers through the loan application process. They will follow up on leads, maintain and grow a client portfolio, and achieve set sales targets and performance metrics. Daily tasks include explaining product features and terms, collecting and verifying client documentation, and providing timely feedback and support to customers. Sales team members will also collaborate with branch staff, participate in marketing and outreach activities, and attend trainings and briefings to stay updated on products, policies, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
- Proven Sales experience or aptitude, including prospecting, closing deals, and working with sales targets.
- Basic understanding of Sales Management or willingness to learn, including reporting, pipeline tracking, and teamwork toward branch goals.
- Willingness to participate in Training to continuously improve product knowledge, compliance awareness, and sales techniques.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a certificate or diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with microfinance or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site, be field-oriented, and demonstrate high levels of integrity, initiative, and resilience.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with using mobile or digital tools for client onboarding and reporting.
