JOB DETAILS:

Kipkeino School is seeking a qualified School Accountant.

Responsibilities or duties

The School Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, payroll processing, and ensuring statutory compliance.

Qualifications or requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA(K) or equivalent professional qualification.
• A member of ICPAK in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, payroll processing, Kenyan tax laws, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to work with digital accounting and school management systems.

Experience needed

3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a school or educational institution.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
