Millfield Runda School is a growing Cambridge International School in Nairobi committed to excellence in education and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and technology- savvy School Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the school.
THE ROLE
The School Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s administrative functions. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the leadership team, manage school records, coordinate communication with parents and staff, and assist in the effective use of school management systems and digital platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Education, Office Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school or educational institution
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Google Workspace, and the ability to learn and manage school information systems
- Strong ICT skills with confidence in using digital platforms, databases, online communication tools and office technology
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach to work
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
