School Bus Driver
3 Positions
Job Summary
Responsible for safely transporting students, staff, and authorized passengers while maintaining the school vehicle in good operating condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport students and staff according to approved schedules and routes.
- Conduct routine checks of the vehicle before and after trips.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the school vehicle.
- Observe all traffic laws and road-safety requirements.
- Ensure students board and leave the vehicle safely.
- Maintain appropriate vehicle and trip records.
- Report mechanical problems, accidents, or other incidents immediately.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly parked and secured when not in use.
- Assist with minor vehicle maintenance checks where appropriate.
- Perform other transport-related duties assigned by school management.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence for the appropriate vehicle class.
- Relevant driving experience, preferably with a school or institution.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Good conduct, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to interact responsibly with students.
- Relevant driving experience and additional certification are an advantage.
