DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing classrooms, offices, hallways, washrooms, and other school areas.

Clean and disinfect toilets, wash basins, and restrooms regularly to maintain a high level of hygiene.

Ensure that cleaning supplies and chemicals are used correctly and stored safely.

Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs within the facility.

Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.

Replenish bathroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Check and support the hygiene needs of small children, especially in early learning classes.

Assist teachers and staff in basic support tasks such as setting up classrooms or responding to inquiries when needed.

Follow the school’s health and safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear when required.

Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the school compound at all times.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a school or childcare setting

Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods

High level of honesty, integrity, and reliability

Friendly and respectful attitude, especially when interacting with children and staff

Must be willing and able to assist with child hygiene support as needed
