Job Purpose:

To provide safe and reliable transport for students, staff, and materials as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive school buses/minibuses for daily routes, trips, and excursions.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained; report faults.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and school transport policies.
• Maintain student discipline and safety during transit.
• Assist students with boarding and alighting if needed.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, trips, and passenger lists.
• Perform basic pre-trip safety checks.
• May require minibus driving license (D1) depending on vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Valid driving license (category appropriate to vehicle).
• D1 license (for minibus over 8 passengers) desirable.
• Defensive driving or passenger assistance training (advantageous).

Experience:

• Experience driving passengers, preferably children.
• Clean driving record.
